I. BUILDING DATA

On an uneven land, with an abrupt southbound slope, the “P” Residence displays discreetly along the street and shows an articulated volumetry managing connections to the garden.

The spaces of the house develop adjacent to a central void.

The living room, the dining place, kitchen, day room of the children communicate through the void parallelepiped towering on two levels in the centre of the house.

Its transparent ends compress its dimension and introduce the vegetation of the garden as a benchmark in the superposed perception of the parts of the house.

The central void organizes the level of the sleeping rooms and facilitates the intimacy of generations.

The usual living functions are completed by spare time spaces - swimming-pool, media library, wine cellar – located in the built opaque and half-buried volumes of the house.

The pungent geometry of the inside management mitigates the diversity of materials and accessories.

Total built area:    693 sq.m.
Total facade area; 400 sq.m.

The project “P” Residence was awarded the first prize in 2013 in the contest held in Transylvania entitled  Bienala de Arhitectura Transilvania 2013, section architecture of the house.

II. ARCHITECT DATA

The design office DE3 united in 2006 the professional evolution of three architects.

Each of the partners approached a different field of activity offering the enterprise a higher diversity and professional experience.
