The administrative building of IPMB is located next to the main road in the
The building is of a simple, rectangular shape, with two atriums cut into one side.
The ground floor is used as an operational base of a construction company, the upper floor contains office spaces.
Materials and solutions were used in order to show precision of individual handicrafts.
In this commercial project, a lot of emphasis was put on detail.
The main expressive element which completed the whole look were exterior concrete bricks provided by KB Blok.
These were used for the construction of load-bearing walls and exterior wall facing.
The facade is composed of concrete brick strips cut by manufacturer.
These strips were glued on a layer of polystyrene thermal insulation.
Polystyrene was anchored to the KB Blok base, therefore wall plugs for hollow material had to be used.
The facade's final finish was completed by a pointing mortar, the colour of which was fine-tuned using colour samples.
Hard materials and technicist construction solutions are complemented by contrastive elements such as the single-coloured cast floor, cedar ceilings and solid wooden furniture.
The most striking element are vividly green polycarbonate drawer fronts.
