Single-family residential dwelling
Architect: arch. Nikolai Rachinsky, arch. Stiliyana Rachinska
Location: 9153 Kumanovo village, Varna Municipality
Year: 2012
Applicator: Yuveks EOOD
Investor: Daniela Kostova-Dimitrova, Vladimir Kostov
Category: 1+2 family residential dwelling
The property (Regulated plot XII-282 kv.16) is located in the village of Kumanovo, Municipality of Aksakovo, Varna Region.

To the east it borders a street, to the north and west – a gully, and to the south it faces another property.

Characteristic feature here is that the relatively levelled and smooth plot is located at approximately 2.50-3.00 m below the service road level.

The property is accessible by a short steep slope on the eastern street regulation.

For these and other reasons, the building is located on the east building line toward the street, the entrance being located on the east semi-level.

The space of the building is broken up with typical vertical accents on the southwest facade and horizontal roof eaves.

The living room occupies almost the entire first floor, divided into nooks for better utilization of space.

The bedrooms are a stepwise shouldered to the depth of the property, with view of better sun lighting.

Under-roof space is adapted as a lounge, comprising a library, a video gaming nook and a resting place, giving access to a large outdoor terrace.

The investors’ intensions were to create both modern and comfortable home for their families, by no means compromising the type and quality of materials.

The Baumit façade system was chosen for the outer finish of the surfaces.

Building colours were designed in a basic soft yellowish tone serving as a background of decoration elements and imitation of wood panelling achieved with silicone seal on the "wet" walls and by applying paint of suitable tone.

The building combining both modern and classical features is simple by space and volume but rich as colour vision, delighting its inhabitants by its harmony.
