The property is located in a central location at the southerly foot of the Jura Mountains, on a slight slope.

The special shape of the land and exposure to the sun associated with this orientation of the land had a significant influence on the design.

The complex is Minergie certified and largely complies with the requirements for buildings used by the elderly.

The facade design took the unconventional structure of the building into account -a 2 mm final rendering with the structure of a simple brush stroke was selected.

The horizontal structure of the final rendering connects the various wings of the building and also emphasises the individuality of the building, together with its position and the associated interplay between light and shadow.
