The grammar school belongs to the larger complex of buildings that was built in Bratislava at the beginning of the twentieth century based on the project by the important Hungarian Art Nouveau architect Ödon Lechner.
This complex also includes the romantic Modrý kostolík (Blue Church) with rectory.
The reconstruction of this building featuring rich art nouveau decoration was a demanding one in terms of artisan skills.
Colour-wise, the façade is plays with two colours in the silicone plaster – ochre and blue.
The artistically designed stone portals complete the harmonious look of the street facade.
