Location: Pirna, Germany
Year: 2011
Applicator: Bau Hauf GmbH Hoch- und Tiefbau, Coswig

Category: Renovation

On 21.05.2012 the building complex Markt 19 - "Hotel Weisser Schwan", Markt 20 - "Napoleon Haus" and the town house at Töpfergasse 2 were ceremoniously inaugurated after almost three years of planning and construction.

The buildings have “grown together” into an attractive inner-city residential complex with a courtyard development spanning the entire plot including the new construction of a rear building.

26 residential units were built on the upper floors, 2 restaurant units on the ground floor and 2 office units on the corner of Markt 20.

A re-discovered ballroom with late medieval frescos, the subject matter of which is unique in Saxony’s cultural landscape, was restored for visitors to enjoy.

The entire complex is powered efficiently using renewable energy. The entire complex is a listed building.
